| Course Description: |
The session is 2 hours in length and face to face tuition.
The session will included the following: PPE for resuscitation of Adult and Paediatric casualties. Principles of Basic Life Support, Chain of survival, Adult / Paediatric algorithms. When to halt resus. Safe use of and AED. Recognition of choking and how to manage a severely choking casualty. Recognition of Anaphylaxis, trigger, signs/ symptoms and how to manage a casualty within anaphylactic shock. |
