To enable the early detection of the deteriorating patient through observations and recognising abnormalities using the ABCDE approach. Introduction to using National Early Warning Score (NEWS). Defining sepsis, identifying signs and symptoms using sepsis screening tools and identifying the appropriate action to take when sepsis is suspected. This is an interactive session. |
