For all HCSW’s new to care or who have not previously completed an NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3. Or experienced HCSW’s who would like a refresher |
| Course Description: |
This interactive session is designed to provide an introduction to the Care Certificate, theory required for Standard 1 Understanding your role, Standard 2 Your Personal Development and Standard 5 Person Centred Care. It will also include portfolio development including what counts as evidence, tips and hints for writing reflective accounts. Preparing the learning for assessment in practice. Guidance will be given on how to evidence the practical elements within your workplace.
The care certificate framework should be completed within the first 12 weeks of employment. |
