CityCare’s journey to support the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda begun with cultural competence and open conversations at our Race Health Inequalities Conference in September 2023.
The “big conversation” session will support staff at all levels of the organisation and all job roles. This is a facilitated session led by David Weaver and Everett Henry from DWC Consulting and David spoke at the conference.
The session will include discussion around approaches to creating a positive workplace with our colleagues and supports our working with patients in our diverse communities. The session includes language used, understanding cultural norms, self-reflection, respect for lived experience and being an ally. |
