All registered Nursing Associates and Nurses who have previously completed their Practice Supervisor or Practice Assessor training. |
| Course Description: |
Following feedback from previous attendees, we have now combined the Practice Supervisor and Assessor training. Any previous training will still be valid. All information in the new format is the same as what has been taught previously. This training is for all registered nurses and nursing associate. The NMC have the expectation that all registered nurses and nursing associates are to support students in practice. Due to this, it is now a role specific requirement for all staff to be trained in both roles to enable them to support learning effectively and confidently with the required understanding of the Standards of Supervision and Assessment (NMC, 2018). Any training completed previously by other organisations will be recognised if certificates can be sent to ncp.citycarepracticelearning@nhs.net so records and ESR can be updated. |
