Essential refresher for current City Care First Aider to refresh their skills when dealing with Adults, Children and Babies: Stabilise an unconscious patient whom is breathing, providing Basic Life support to patients in respiratory or cardiac arrest, the safe use of and AED on a patient, recognise and provide treatment to a mildly choking or severely choking patient, recognise and treat a patient within Anaphylaxis, recognise and treat a patient showing signs of Shock, provide treatment for minor injuries, bleeding and burns. ( This course could also be used for Clinical staff who are current First Aiders as their Mandatory BLS update). |
