All registered nurses who see patients with leg ulcers. Must have completed Module 10 first and have 6 months community nursing experience. |
| Course Description: |
To understand the CityCare Leg and Foot Ulcer Pathways following initial red flag assessment.
Undertaking a holistic leg assessment including an ABPI reading using a MESI doppler.
Understanding leg assessment outcomes and the appropriate management of patients with leg ulceration.
Understanding how to measure patients for compression hosiery and compression wraps. |
